William Solyntjes USDF clinician and “S” judge said at the Twice As Nice Show “After an all night rain and well into the morning, riders at the Canterbury show found the footing to be secure. The fiber seems to soak up the moisture and keep its integrity. Not one horse slipped and I was able to give many 8’s and even some 9’s because of the resilient and safe footing. Horses stayed soft in the back and showed elastic gaits.” Bill Solyntjes
Happy Feet! That's what my horses have now with the perfect footing in my arena. Thank you Wendy for making that happen.
It is so refreshing to deal with a knowledgeable footing company that is so trustworthy. Wendy made a special trip to my farm with new fiber to add to the existing dressage arena that was recently rejuvenated with Fleet Footing. I just knew we needed more because of its strange consistency. She came especially to bring my order.
When Wendy arrived after a long trip and before we unloaded it, she wanted to see what had changed from the perfect arena from a few months ago. She asked what had changed.
I told her two things- the water and the way it was groomed . She patiently showed my barn manager what to do and how to maintain what I had. There was no need to add more.
What? I was stunned. She refused to let me buy more product that was not needed!!!
That integrity and professionalism is a rare find in today's market.
Support and use Fleet Footing and your horses will have Happy Feet, too.

Reg is recovering from a major injury to his hoof (nearly tore his heel bulb off on front right) He's barefoot here in the arena, on your footing. We love it; I'm so glad I out it in !--Ann Shermeyen, Alachua
I am thrilled with the improvement the fiber has made for my horses. It is clear that it makes a huge difference on the concussion that my horses absorb with regular training. I feel much safer working on extended gaits, that they are not pounding on a surface that will be too stressful for their joints. It feels padded adding a ‘spring’ to my horses’ step.
I also love that it takes less maintenance time. Our concrete screening/sand footing was impossible, it become too packed and very uneven, requiring hours a week of maintenance with special tractors and drags to make it even ridable. Our new footing needs far less extra work. The trick is keeping the moisture level correct, we only need the tractor once every few weeks. It has been a great solution for us at Martin Downs Equestrian Center. Heather Bender-Head Trainer
“Recently I returned to show at Canterbury after several years of not competing there. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the outdoor schooling area and ring 1 had been resurfaced with Fleet Footing fiber. The improvement was amazing, and our horses returned home fresh and sound!” Anne Gribbons
“ I knew that the biggest challenge about the farm I was looking to lease was the extremely deep footing in the covered arena. Previous boarders had complaints ranging from dislike to disdain. Overall the consensus was not good and as us horse people know fixing bad footing is costly and time consuming. I decided to give “Fleet Footing” a try after Wendy Low manager of Canterbury assured me that it was the answer for loose deep footing. Wow did it make a difference! It is truly like night and day. The “Fleet Footing” fibers tightened up the surface and turned a mess into show quality footing. Instead of complaints I have people asking what it is and where to get it. Compared to other footing options “Fleet Footing” fibers are very cost effective and once mixed in easy to maintain. This footing is truly a lifesaver, thank you!”

Last year, our Equestrian Community decided to add Fleet Footing carpet fiber into our community riding arena in Aiken, South Carolina. After extensive research, we were pleased to find an affordable solution for the very fine and deep sand which is native to our area. After blending Fleet Footing carpet fibers with our existing sand (leveled to a 3” depth) we had increased firmness and water retention in our footing. Not only do we have reduced maintenance expenses since the footing does not cut up like the pure sand did previously but the surface grade of the arena is holding as well allowing for efficient drainage in heavy rains. The trick for us is to keep the moisture content consistent with nightly watering and using a 5 foot lawn roller every other week to re compact the footing. Our footing is firm but has a spring to it that cushions the horse’s footfall. It is ideal for flat work as well as jumping. In the past 6 months we have had our new footing, we have experienced repeated hard freezes and up to 6 inches of rain in a few days. Through it all, our footing has remained rideable and never slippery. We are thrilled with our new footing and would recommend it hardily.
